Kids On Aspen

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Kids on Aspen's vision for reconciliation is that all children respectfully learn about and understand the histories and customs of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong Peoples of the Land on which our service stands.

At Kids on Aspen, we have a vision for an equitable society and we are committed to ensuring that, through our service’s education and care of children, and relationships with community, children will thrive.

The aim of reconciliation is to create an understanding of the true histories of Australia, and the place of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within those histories and within contemporary Australia.

Learning about one another’s histories, cultures and heritage is the first step in understanding and respecting one another.
