VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

To increase the cultural competence of the team and children particularly regarding reconciliation. The process of developing our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is the vehicle whereby we hope to achieve deeper cultural awareness around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and histories. The development and implementation of our RAP gives educators a framework to engage in cross-cultural interactions and embrace a wide range of cultural experiences. The development and implementation of our RAP gives children an extension of school-based learning about reconciliation and embedding respectful practices in their everyday lives.
