We at Goodstart Early Learning Kings Meadows form a diverse community that recognises, respects and values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We will continue to work towards reconciliation through building and maintaining respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the local community. We will work collaboratively with First Nations community members to learn about how to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our programming and practices.
We are committed to supporting all children, and everyone across our learning community, to develop a strong understanding of reconciliation by providing opportunities that are informed by rich and diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and experiences. We strongly believe that when there are opportunities through education for children, educators and families to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, and cultures is key to successfully achieving a reconciled Australia.
