VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Stepping Stone Two Wells our vision for reconciliation is about building respect and understanding between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal Australians, with a focus on teaching awareness of our country’s true histories. We aim to engage future generations in respectfully learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s cultures and heritage as a proud part of a shared National Identity.

We at Stepping Stone Two Wells believe a reconciled Australia is a country where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal people are treated equitably and equally, and is a country that we all feel proud to call home and can celebrate together.

We are committed to an ongoing learning for all Educators at our service and will pass on our knowledge to future generations. We believe through engaging with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our community we can foster a sense of belonging and create culturally safe spaces. We learn from the past as we forge the road ahead, and walk the path of reconciliation together.
