Cotton Tree Early Childhood Centre

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At C&K Cotton Tree, we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We respect the cultures, knowledge, contributions and traditions of our nation’s First Peoples.

We are committed to establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our local community. Through these relationships we gain knowledge, empathy and understanding. We recognise the value and importance of respectfully sharing this knowledge with the children in our centre.

We aim to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures throughout our curriculum by offering experiences that are respectful and meaningful.

Our vision is to walk alongside Australia’s First Peoples and embark on a journey of shared ideas and knowledge; a journey of healing  and working towards equality, equity unity and respect for all.
