Our vision for reconciliation at Goodstart Logan Village, is a Centre that embraces unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and all other Australians.
In the context of Early Learning this represents equal opportunities and equity for all children, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and an inclusive and diverse learning environment that is culturally safe, rich and proud.
It involves the recognition and authentic engagement with the local Yugambeh community as well as acknowledging the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and supporting each child’s connection to Country, and the removal of negative race relations through the acceptance of our share history.
