Tingalpa & District Kindergarten

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation is to foster and demonstrate respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and achievements.

Our learning community has been shaped, and will continue to be shaped, by the influences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, wisdoms, and knowledge’s.

Honouring First Nations Peoples' histories, perspectives and continuing connections to Lands, seas and skies in our program deepens everyone’s learning.

Our kindergarten is committed to actively including the voices, cultures and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through partnerships, consultation and collaboration.

We acknowledge and understand that reconciliation is everybody’s responsibility. We will succeed through creating innovative ways of engaging and empowering staff and students from all backgrounds to build stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, benefiting all Australians.
