At Milestones Early Learning Stretton, we believe reconciliation is an inclusive journey, mutually beneficial journey which is ongoing and which is based on strengthening relationships between the centre and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. As a strong team, we are committed to encouraging open communication and discussing the continued importance of having a Reconciliation Action Plan in place and the positive impacts that putting our RAP's vision and commitments into action that it can bring to the centre and wider community. Reconciliation to us means 'coming together' to overcome the gap that segregation has caused between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We will continue to strive for a better future that is inclusive for all and where past injustices are healed.
