Our vision is to visibly, verbally and respectfully acknowledge the deep connection that the Boon Wurrung and Bunurong peoples have to the Land on which our Kindergarten is situated upon. We will provide opportunities to staff to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, perspectives and cultures that will enable staff to support and educate current and future generations about the world's oldest living civilisation. We will strive to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and histories and strive to build genuine, respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and to celebrate this with all children, staff, families and the wider community who attend our Kindergarten.
