Sentia Early Learning

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Sentia Early Learning is an Early Learning service that is committed to continuing to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in all aspects of our curriculum.

At our service, we aim to provide a welcoming and supporting environment for all educators, children and families, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, children and families.

We, as educators, recognise that diversity contributes to the richness of our society. We will always recognise the work and teachings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and respect the Land which we inhabit.

At Sentia we are committed to raising awareness about, and the profile of, reconciliation in our community, and demonstrating our commitment to reconciliation to our community.

We honour the histories, cultures, languages, traditions, child-rearing and education practices, choices and aspirations of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous families, including families who have migrated to Australia from all around the globe.
