Our vision for reconciliation is that all Australians should respect and celebrate the First Peoples of Australia and their cultures, so that we can right the wrongs experienced since colonisation and create a society that is equitable and just for all Australians.
We hope that, in committing to reconciliation, we can educate those in our community that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples continue to have a very special place in Australia and should be respected and valued as the First Nations people.
We are striving to work collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We are striving to continue building strong relationships based on respect and understanding. Through building these relationships between our Centre and our local community, we can strengthen our understanding and awareness and contribute to more equal and equitable opportunities and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all our children.
We provide an environment that reflects all stakeholders that use the Centre and the wider community and allows everyone to feel included and respected.
