Goodstart Tatton

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision at Goodstart Tatton is to actively recognise and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the custodians of the Country on which all Australian early learning services are offered. We will respect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, heritage and cultures, and value justice, equality and equity for all Australians, ensuring that all families that attend our service recognise the importance of doing so..

We will teach the children that attend the centre the importance of the histories and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and will commit to learning more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and cultures so that we have an inclusive environment for the children. We will build respectful relationships with Elders in the community and learn from them.

Goodstart Tatton commits to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians and supports fostering equality and equity in education and employment.
