Goodstart Albury - Pemberton Street

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision at Goodstart Pemberton Street is to provide a culturally safe environment that reflects the values, beliefs and practices of all families, while honouring the histories, traditions and cultures of Australia's First Nations peoples.

Delivering a culturally responsive educational program and respectfully embedding cultural practices and perspectives with the guidance of Wiradjuri Elders and community members supports educators, children and families as they continue on their journey to cultural awareness and inclusion.

We acknowledge that reconciliation is a journey of truly listening, continuous learning, mutual respect, sharing knowledge and coming together to define a sense of connectedness to culture.

We strive for an environment surrounded by peace, unity, equality and equity, allowing for authentic and collaborative relationships to be formed.
