KU Eastwood Preschool

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At KU Eastwood Preschool, the educator team commits to beginning our own learning journey about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, protocols, practices and aspirations for wellbeing.

We will share our learnings with the children, families and community in ways that are respectful and sensitive as we increase our understandings about local and national histories and cultures.

We will seek to make connections with the Darug people, on whose Land our Preschool stands. We will also reflect on our work to ensure that we continue striving to recognise and respect the strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges, as we stand behind their voices listening to the way we should advocate for their rights and self-determination.
