Newington College - Wyvern Campus

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Newington College Wyvern House recognises that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the Traditional Custodians of the Land. As such, we have a responsibility to understand, connect with and build pride in Australia’s unique Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. As a school community we are shaped by our vision to empower boys to develop great hearts, inspired minds and strong wings, ready to make a positive contribution to society and the future. Our Reconciliation Action Plan is similarly shaped by these values as we seek to foster an environment of understanding, equity, equality and pride for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Newington College is committed to sparking positive change in the hearts, minds and actions of our community, on the path to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians.
