Deconstructing and Reconstructing Inclusive Policies (Secondary)

overview

In this activity, students deconstruct a policy document from a relevant institution to identify what does or does not make it inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, perspectives and priorities, and where they see opportunities for improvement. Students then attempt to re-write relevant sections of that policy, according to what they have identified as opportunities to make it more inclusive.
