NRW Themes Through Time (Secondary)

overview

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. The theme makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. It reminds us that reconciliation is not solely the responsibility of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.

Through a series of activities, teachers support learners to critically examine what it means for everyone to be All In for reconciliation: analysing language and data and developing initiatives that translate from understanding to meaningful change during NRW and beyond.
