Little Tinkers Family Day Care aims to create culturally safe and inclusive education and care environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children and families feel a sense of belonging. We continue working to build strong respectful connections with the First Nations community. We will ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures and traditions are valued, engaged with and respectfully taught throughout our educational programs. We foster an inclusive and diverse workplace where we provide equal and equitable opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We endeavor to provide continuous opportunities for our staff, educators, families and community to learn and understand the diverse and dynamic nature of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and histories. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of Lands across Australia and we believe to respectfully understand who Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are, we need to listen to what they say.
