Genius Childcare Toowoomba

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Genius Toowoomba acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of this Country and their connection to the land, water and community in which we operate.

We pay our respect to First Peoples, their cultures and customs both past and present.

The Genius team is committed to providing an ongoing program that is rich in culture and a celebration of cultural diversity. We hope and aim to:

  • Better understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritages.
  • Strive to teach children about the heritage of the Land on which our Early Learning Centre stands, and the value that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and contributions adds to our workplace and community.
  • Recognise, celebrate and embrace the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, and value the central role reconciliation plays in our multicultural community.
  • Strive for equality, equity and inclusion among all people of diverse cultures.
