Goodstart Underdale's vision for reconcilation is to actively acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as Traditional Custodians of Lands across Australia. As individuals and as a team, we will commit to educating ourselves and the community around us. We educate ourselves by making ourselves more aware and our community by modelling respect and acknowledgement through our daily practices, environment and experiences. We will move forward by making connections in the local community and establish an equitable and integrated learning environment.
We aim to embed effective respectful and reciprocal practices and make them our norm. In turn, for our children we aim to organically and respectfully educate them about the cultures, histories and languages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and ensure all children are provided with equal and equality education opportunities.
