VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our School sits on Wadjak Noongar Land, and our vision for our reconciliation journey is to celebrate the diverse identities and cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our School community, our wider local community, and communities across Australia. We aspire to build our community of practice, and to develop rich and positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will continue foster the importance of celebrating and respectfully embedding First Nations Peoples’ perspectives, histories and cultures through our curriculum.  We are a School community that cares and that is committed to working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to increase, respect, reduce prejudice and strengthen unity for the benefit of all staff, students, families and the wider community.  We hope to shape the hearts and minds of the future generations through encouraging students and all members of our School community to reflect on the past, look to the present and  towards  the future to interact, live, work and learn together in harmony with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  We are life long learners, who are passionate about the need to engage in vibrant learning experiences, which deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
