Leopold Early Learning Centre

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Leopold Early Learning Centre, we acknowledge and value the cultural histories and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision is a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively recognised as the Traditional Custodians of Australia.

We aim to provide opportunities for our children, families, educators and community to gain a greater understanding and to embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past, present and future for the wisdom and knowledge they hold and share.

We will contribute to an Australia where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members, children and families feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. We will ensure all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural identities are respected, and where all members of our educational community feel welcomed and comfortable in their surroundings.

We are committed to building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations to provide respectful, responsive and culturally relevant services.
