At Ellenbrook School of Early Learning, we believe in strong relationships and connection between our service and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and surrounding community members to support all children in their learning and development. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and community members are welcomed, respected and valued by our service. Our vision is to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday practices, uniting common goals and ideas involving the Traditional Owners of the Land our service is located on. Our service commits to being understanding, gaining knowledge and being proactive towards an inclusive and equal future. We value and respect all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and strive to celebrate their diverse cultures within our educational curriculum. Our educators, children and families will continue to learn, understand and respect the needs, cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
