Nido Early School Montrose

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Nido Early School Montrose our vision for reconciliation is:

  • To gain a greater awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and to embed that knowledge and show within our practices our inclusive philosophy.
  • To share knowledge with others within the wider community.
  • To form a relationship with Elders in our community and include them within our service.
  • For our children to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and to have an appreciation and be reflective.
  • For our educators to learn and support the children's developing knowledge by talking about, including experiences and involving the community within their programs
