VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

All community members of Busy Bees at Rivergums acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land and Elders past, present and emerging. Our vision for reconciliation is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives, cultures, and experiences into our centre.

Our vision is to continue to develop our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures and their histories and share this knowledge with children through inclusive and respectful interactions.

Our vision for reconciliation is to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives into our daily practices and curriculums. We meaningfully engage all children, families, and staff in a professional, caring, and friendly manner. We communicate openly and freely about the issues and strengths we have encountered and where we are moving towards within our reconciliation journey.
