VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Haileybury Early Learning Centre's vision for reconciliation is to facilitate cultural respect and understanding to ensure equity and equality in our community. We are committed to deepening our understanding of, and gaining knowledge about, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to ensure we provide a culturally safe and respectful environment.

We commit to deepening our understanding of the significance of connecting to Boonwurrung Country, plants, animals and people, taking sustainability into active consideration. Our goal is to authentically embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures into our daily curriculum to allow many different possibilities for learning and connection.

We envision looking beyond the classroom and connecting with our community to foster relationships and belonging.
