Our vision for reconciliation is to acknowledge the true histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will do this by acknowledging the impact of colonization on past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In doing so, we will help to build unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians by building respectful relationships. Our intention is to create a culturally responsive environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, educators and communities feel they belong.
Petit Early Learning Journey Barton will engage in continuous professional learning to continue deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures, values, beliefs, traditions and perspectives with respect and free from any judgement and racism where respect is the core significant belief for everyone.
