Only About Children Market Street

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Only About Children – Market Street acknowledges and values the cultural histories, heritages traditions, and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of this Land.

Our vision is a future where equality and equity is fostered between non-Indigenous and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We believe in a future where the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are respectfully embedded into practice in an authentic manner, moving away from tokenistic practices; where there are positive perceptions of diverse communities; and where there is equal and equitable representation in all aspects of daily life.

To promote reconciliation, we look forward to connecting with our local community to develop a greater understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, in particular the local Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.
