We at Only About Children Brighton East have a vision for reconciliation to acknowledge and embed respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people into our service.
We aim to develop a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, languages and cultures throughout our service. We are committed to our reconciliation journey and will continue establishing and extending regular and consistent relationships with local Elders and community members.
We are committed to respectfully embedding authentic, meaningful practices into our curriculum, and supporting our team’s growth and understanding about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and perspectives.
We will continue to work diligently to educate our children about, and raise awareness of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
