Tribe Early Learning Ridgewood

Tribe Early Learning Ridgewood acknowledges and pays our respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this Nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual, and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Ancestors and Traditional Custodians have walked this Country for millennia and we acknowledge their special and unique place in our nation's historical, cultural and linguistic identity. 

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Wajuk people, the Traditional Custodians and Elders of past, present and future of this Land and the Noongar Nation. We look to develop and grow a respectful and relationship with the Wajuk people. We seek to learn their histories and perspectives and respectfully share these learnings with the children and community associated with our service. We strive to encourage widespread acceptance of our nation’s history and an agreement that the wrongs of the past will never be repeated.

We strive for the continuation of respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, experiences, and heritages within our rooms and for the community and little people. Our Educators work hard to give children and their community meaningful learning experiences to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The children show interest in learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and seek to have a strong connection to their environment and Land.
