Kinda- Mindi Castle Hill, believes in providing children with rich, meaningful and real opportunities to better understand the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their communities, traditions and continuing connections to the Bidjigal Lands on which our service resides.
Our aim is to find meaningful ways to walk together with our nation’s First Peoples, by building knowledge, acceptance and understanding that is fostered through the reciprocal relationships with our local Aboriginal community and ongoing learning and professional development.
Our vision is to create an environment that is promotes justice, anti-bias and equity for all, by inspiring knowledge and understanding of our nations Aboriginal and Torres Strait heritage, and we encourage our Kinda-Mindi community; staff, families, children and visitors alike, to embrace reconcilliation through embedded practices that actively values and recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage as a proud part of our shared identity.
