Helping Hands Oakville

At Helping Hands Oakville, our Vision for reconciliation is to provide meaningful and respectful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our wider community to engage and enhance the learning and knowledge of all children within our service and the local community. We aim to develop and extend the knowledge of all people who engage with our service of the resilience of the Darug people on which our service is built and to fully acknowledge the history of the Darug people and the shared history of all Australians. We wish to create an holistic environment in which we are able to incorporate respectful practices and the teachings of the Darug people into our daily routine and service practices. We wish to ensure equal and equitble rights within our service for all peoples and to ensure equity and equality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples that they are able to share their personal beliefs and practices.
