Our vision for reconciliation at Bright Stars Montessori Preschool- Wentworthville is to respectfully educate the children, the families, and the educators within the center about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's perspectives, histories, and cultures/perspectives?. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the Custodians of Australia and we focus on exploring ways to apply First Nations Peoples perspectives and values to our curriculum. We encourage respect for others, inclusion, and diversity. Educators are supported to explore ways to implement the First Nations Peoples perspectives in their daily routines and promote cultural learning to extend children's interests and ideas. The RAP aims to encourage diversity and provide opportunities to help our learning community promotes multiple understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People's perspectives.
