Sprout Early Learning Centre

Our Service is based on five acres of grass and natural bush situated on the Land of the Darkinjung people. As such, at Sprout Early Learning Centre, our vision for reconciliation encompasses an active respect for the Traditional Custodians of this Land. We are committed to providing a balanced approach to reconciliation in education, using holistic, open-ended play and intentional teaching.

We are a passionate and dedicated centre, family owned and operated. We are emotionally attached to and passionate about inclusive practices within the service and are willing to reach out to support services for the inclusion of all families.

We will continue to engage with our local Aboriginal council, of Darkinjung Country, to seek opportunities to connect with Aboriginal families and learn new ways of respectfully integrating Aboriginal cultures into our centre community.

Sprout Early Learning Centre's vision for reconciliation is to recognise, respect and advance the inherent rights, cultures and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. Through a shared journey, we will work together to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equitable life opportunities.

Our vision is a future where all Australians actively recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as being the First Nations peoples of Australia; where all Australians embrace Elders past, present and future for the wisdom and knowledge they hold and share; and where emerging leaders in the local community are supported.
