C&K Jinibara Community Kindergarten

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land, recognising and celebrating Australia's unique and shared histories and building a better future. We acknowledge that there is still much distance to travel on our journey to reconciliation and that as Early Childhood Educators, we have a vital part to play in this journey.  We teach our children the value of connecting with our local Aboriginal community. A reconciled Australia can help all Australians feel cared for and understood. We acknowledge the past, present and emerging with our Acknowledgement of Country every day. Teachers actively embrace reconciliation and make it part of our everyday life at Kindy. Through the celebration of this beautiful country that we are privileged to live in, we recognise the truths of the past, and the importance of moving forward together to create a better future for all Australians.
