Reconciliation is about creating unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians. We acknowledge, value, and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures, histories, and heritages and wish to advocate for justice, equality and equity for First Nations Peoples.

At Nido Early School - Willetton, we  meaningfully incorporate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives seamlessly into our everyday curriculum. We hope that through reconciliation, the knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, and cultures becomes a shared language with our educators, children, families, and the broader community.

Reconciliation will be achieved through recognising, respecting, and celebrating the First Nations peoples of Australia and developing equal, equitable and respectful partnerships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians.
