Our vision for Explore & Develop Penrith South's Reconciliation Action Plan is to continuously strive towards acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories, cultures, and contributions. Our goal is to share with our community our learnings, values, and beliefs through our educational practice and curriculum.
Based on our reconciliation journey thus far, our goal moving forward is to form connections with our community and create strong partnerships, acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Traditional Custodians. In the past, these connections have provided us with challenges and thus, this will be our new goal for the year ahead.
Moving forward, we are committed to engaging with our community and peak bodies of our local government area (LGA) and other professional organisations to ensure our approach is localised, authentic, and meaningful.
