At Subicare Early Learning Centre, our Reconciliation Vision is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be valued and treated with the utmost respect, while being recognised and celebrated as the Traditional Custodians of this Land. We strive to acknowledge and understand the vast histories and cultural values of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while maintaining meaningful connections with members of the local community.
Our service recognises that reconciliation is an ongoing and multifaceted process and as such are committed to ongoing learning, consistent forward thinking and being aspirational in nature. We strive to ensure that we are constantly providing meaningful experiences and embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within our curriculum that are guided by critical reflection and collaboration.
It is with these objectives in mind that we hope to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, children and wider community members by reinforcing the importance of reconciliation for all Australians.
