Our vision for reconciliation is for our current and future children, their families, our staff and our community to recognise, celebrate and embrace the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, and value the continued role these cultures play in our local community today.
As a centre we strive to better understand Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and heritages through a range of respectful learning experiences. We continue to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community to learn directly from them and to ensure all we do is authentic and respectful.
We will embed the learning of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories within our programs to ensure that current and future generations of children will have understanding and respect for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and all that have endured throughout history.
