VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Arden Airlie Beach Early Learning Centre’s vision for reconciliation is for educators and families to continue to acknowledge and respect the First Nation peoples’ histories and cultures throughout the program by respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. We are committed to working together to bring unity to Arden Airlie Beach Early Learning Centre.

We envision a country where everyone is treated with respect, where we are all given equal and equitable opportunities and where we have come to truthful and positive understandings of the past, present and future.

Our next steps will be continuing to learn from, and strengthen our relationships with, Aboriginal staff and the Gia and Ngaro people of the Whitsundays area. We hope to holistically involve our staff, the children within our care, our families and our wider local community in our reconciliation journey into the future.
