C&K Blackwater Community Kindergarten

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

C&K Blackwater Community Kindergarten seeks to respectfully raise awareness and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique histories and cultures and deep relationships to Country. We are committed to working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to solve problems, increase access to quality education and generate success in everyone’s best interest.

We recognise that a better understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures can develop an enriched appreciation of Australia's cultural heritage and can lead to reconciliation. This is essential to the maturity of Australia as a nation and fundamental to the development of a rich Australian Identity.
