Pomona Early Childhood Centre

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Pomona Early Childcare values the cultural histories, heritage, stories and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our vision is to create a community that fosters equality and equity for all Australians, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. A community where cultural identities are respected and children, families and educators feel a sense of belonging. A place that encourages its people young and old to build strong connections with community and Country. A place that celebrates the histories, and values the knowledge of the local Gubbi Gubbi people and is committed to strengthening these connections with the Land’s Traditional Custodians- so we may together, build a future that is unified, inclusive and culturally sensitive to all.
