Our vision for reconciliation at Toral Lodge is to support our community to embrace and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples histories, perspectives, contributions and ways of being. As educators we aim to provide opportunities to assist people to commit to working towards a more equal, equitable and reconciled future and becoming a strong and united nation which embraces Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We will ensure that we are working with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by incorporating their voices, cultures and histories throughout our curriculum.
We will continue to build on our community connections with local Elders and families to form strong foundations for educators to deliver authentic learning across our service. We will support the reconciliation of Australia and its First Nation Peoples through our pedagogy and communication with the children, families, educators and leadership members of our service.
