Barefoot Early Childhood is committed to providing a service culture that is welcoming, inclusive and respectful to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We appreciate the wisdom, strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as well as acknowledging the injustices and discrimination they have faced and continue to face.
Our vision for reconciliation is to bring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people together to live in harmony, by understanding and respecting our shared histories. We continue our commitment to learning more about our First Nation's Peoples by opening our eyes, our hearts and our minds to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural, spiritual and educational practices.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the past, present and future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and hope to learn more about their histories and practices, both traditional and contemporary. Together we will celebrate a reconciled future.
