We believe in acknowledging and teaching about the true histories of Australia and promoting a sense of understanding, connection and respect for Australia’s First Nations peoples, and for the Land on which we learn and play.
We will ensure that we recognise and respect the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples by ensuring we are respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout the service and with the children We will build meaningful and reciprocal relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
As an organisation, we are committed to raising awareness about reconciliation, with the goal of encouraging all people in the broader community to embrace reconciliation and work towards reparation and healing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We will demonstrate this through gaining a deeper understanding of Australia's First Peoples’ ways of knowing and learning; respectfully reflecting that knowledge at all levels of our service.
