Our vision for reconciliation is an Australia which embraces unity and acceptance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and all other Australians. A country of unity, equality and equity, where history is shared truthfully amongst all Australians. Our vision is to continue contributing to a national culture forged on respect and the removal of negative race relations. We respectfully learn and embed aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and perspectives into our early learning programs and practices. We continue to connect with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and pay respects to Traditional Custodians of the Land. We will focus on respect, relationships and reaching out to community to build respectful relationships with the local First Nations community. We will provide opportunities for our staff, children and families to deepen their engagement in the reconciliation journey.
