Goodstart Gatton is committed to reconciliation and our vision is to value and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ histories and cultures by strengthening educators, children's and families’ knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives.

Goodstart Gatton acknowledges the Land on which it stands as Yuggera Land, and continues building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As educators we promote the importance of looking after the Land and acknowledging the history of the Yuggera people who walked and looked after the Land before us and continue to do so.

 Our vision is for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to have equal and equitable opportunities to participate in culturally safe quality early childhood education and care. We envision an equitable, inclusive and culturally respectful community which builds a sense of belonging for all children.
