Little Angels @ Forest Hill

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Little Angels @ Forest Hill Kindergarten and Early Learning's vision for reconciliation is an early learning and wider Australian community where:

  • recognition of the histories, identities, cultures and rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is universally affirmed;
  • there is formal recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Constitution and in other ways chosen by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
  • there is genuine and positive engagement by all levels of government with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, communities and organisations;
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have equal and equitable opportunities to design or co-design, manage, evaluate and deliver programs and policies that affect them and their communities to achieve positive outcomes and ensure access to justice.

We are committed to ensuring that all staff at our early learning service continue to be involved in the development of our vision for reconciliation and feel committed to achieving it together with all members of our educational community.

Staff in our early learning service understand the action required to achieve our vision for reconciliation and will actively take the next steps towards its achievement.
