Lowood and District Community Kindergarten

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Lowood and District Community Kindergarten is committed to implementing our Vision for Reconciliation.

Our plan is to focus on building a strong understanding about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples' histories, cultures and achievements in our local area so we can honour and share this understanding with our children and future children. We wish to understand and appreciate different cultures, including the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, which will assist us to build positive relationships and connections within our community. We wish to also embed the development of empathy and respect for others within our curriculum and kindergarten culture.

We would like to involve parents and the community in the development of curriculum.
