Goodstart Yamanto

VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Goodstart Yamanto is focused on developing our knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. Through this knowledge, we will strive to achieve a competence in practice that celebrates our nation's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, heritage, and connections to Country. We acknowledge the past and look to the future to bring awareness of the continued importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions, and support ongoing peace and harmony amongst our early learning service's local Country and community. We believe children are integral to our future and therefore will respectfully give them the knowledge and opportunities to celebrate and honour traditional and continuing customs and cultures, which will form a unity of people, Land and community.
